Estate Planning / Elder Law Seminar May 18, 2015

Local attorneys, Debra Lynn Nicholson Esq. and Thomas J. Hayes Esq., will be presenting an informative seminar on Wills, Living Wills, Durable Power of Attorneys and Long Term Care Options at 7:30 p.m. on May 18, 2015 at the United Methodist Church in Newfoundland.  One of the questions that will be answered will be “How can a new Will save my heirs $33,200?”

Following the presentation, there will be a question and answer period and Attorneys Nicholson and Hayes have volunteered to review any documents that are brought to the presentation to advise if they are in compliance with current state law for any attendees that wish to have their documents reviewed. (Please bring photocopies where possible)

Ms. Nicholson is the founder of the Law Offices of Debra Lynn Nicholson, located at One Main Street, Sparta, New Jersey.  She received her J.D. from the Seton Hall University School of Law, her early years were spent in Oak Ridge and she is a longtime resident of Sparta Township.  She is a former president of the Sussex County Bar Association and active in many local organizations.  She practices in the areas of Elder Law, Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Real Estate, Corporate/LLC Formation and Land Use.

Mr. Hayes is a new Associate at the Law Offices of Debra Lynn Nicholson, he received his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law, his M.B.A. from Seton Hall University and his B.S. from Penn State University.  He is a lifetime resident of West Milford, and has been active in Community Groups such as the Boy Scouts of America and the United Methodist Church in Newfoundland.  Tom’s practice is focused on Elder Law, Estate Planning, Estate Administration and Municipal Court Matters.

Ms. Nicholson presented a similar seminar at the United Methodist Church in Newfoundland back in 2002.  Many laws have changed since then so it is advisable to attend again.
